These scenes give viewers a taste of the sacrifices necessary to start a company.
Most of the movie takes place in dilapidated Detroit. However, “Generation Startup” captures a livelier side of the Motor City through its focus on the graduates’ companies and dreams, but they are still criticized more than praised for their work.
The empathetic nature of “Generation Startup” inspires audiences to believe in themselves and to never give up. The graduates must endure many trials such as struggling with low finances and failing to ship products that meets production standards.
