The Big West announced its 2022-2023 all-conference teams and awards on Monday for women’s basketball, featuring three Titan players.

Titans backcourt duo Una Jovanovic and Fujika Nimmo were both named All-Big West second team, and guard Demonnie Lagway was named to the Big West All-Freshman team.

Jovanovic finished her sophomore season averaging 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists. Nimmo finished her senior season with the Titans averaging 14.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Jovanovic and Nimmo each averaged 14.5 points per game on the season, but were only separated by one point in total scoring with Jovanovic leading the Titans. Jovanovic scored a conference total of 421 points while Nimmo had 420 points.

In Lagway’s first season with the Titans, she totaled 78 points, 29 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals in limited minutes.

This was the Titans’ first time having players named to an all-conference team since alumna Raina Perez was named Big West player of the year and all-conference first team for the 2019-2020 season.

The Titans will now head to the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada to compete in the Big West tournament. They will take on Hawaiʻi in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
